The License section of the page menu contains one function, which is used for viewing and managing your DME server license: Manage license.
When a DME server is initially installed, a Default license is included. This license gives access to running a server with one connector, one user, and five devices. The Manage license screen will display the text Default license. This license can be used for testing your DME solution.
Once you are ready to start a larger-scale test, or release the DME solution in your company, a real license is required. To obtain a license, contact your DME Partner, who will supply a valid license file based on your requirements.
To install the license, click Install new license at the bottom of the screen. Browse to the license file you received from your DME Partner - it is called dme_license.lic - and click Open. When the license file is selected, DME will check the validity of the file, and show it in the Install DME license window. Then click Install to install the license on your server.
