The Server group of fields contains specifics about your server license.
When ordering your license, you can choose to bind the license to one or more server hardware addresses. DME will only run on the hardware using the listed MAC addresses. This means that if you change hardware, you need to renew your license.
Instead of (or in addition to) listing the hardware MAC addresses, you can bind your DME license to a specific server path. This may be easier for you, for instance if you are running a cluster with multiple servers. On the other hand, you will require separate licenses for a live system and a test system, for instance. * in this field means any server path.
This field shows the version of DME to which your license applies. A * is a wildcard character meaning any. Hence, 4.* means that the license is valid for any DME version 4, for instance 4.0 or 4.1.
This field shows the number of connectors you are licensed to use.
