This part of the License page contains information about the details of the license you have purchased. On the Usage subtab, you can see this information graphically.
This number specifies how many of the devices (from the Users and devices section) that may support Mobile Device Management (MDM). An MDM device could be a Basic MDM client (see Appendix G: The Basic MDM client), or it could be a device that supports MDM features such as Apple MDM enrollment etc. For instance, you could have a license for 100 users and 200 devices, with max. 100 MDM devices. This would permit 100 users with full clients and 100 anonymous users with a Basic MDM client.
This number of users are permitted to use the Document Viewer/Editor (available on the Android and iOS platforms).
This number of users are permitted to use Web AppBox (available on the Android and iOS platforms).
This number of users are permitted to synchronize e-mail.
This number of users are permitted to synchronize contacts.
This number of users are permitted to synchronize their calendar.
This number of users are permitted to synchronize to-dos.
This number of users are permitted to synchronize Domino notes.
This number of users are permitted to synchronize files.
This number of users are permitted to synchronize RSS feeds.
This number of users can use the Telecom Expense Management (TEM) features (deprecated).
For all the limits above, with the exception of MDM, Document Viewer/Editor, and Web AppBox, DME will keep a count of users using those features. If the limit is exceeded, DME will deny access to the device trying to perform the sync function, and print a message in the log - for instance
Message:
The number of users using E-mail sync. (101) exceed the licensed amount of 100.
For MDM, Document Viewer/Editor, and AppBox, DME will display a message in the Devices tab similar to the one below, and print messages in the log when the limits are exceeded.
To prevent users from consuming licenses that they are not supposed to have, disable the feature(s) in question in Settings for individual devices or groups of devices.
