If this setting is On, DME AppBox will be enabled for DME clients that support this*. The AppBox is a corporate App Store which enables companies to provide their users with apps built using HTML5 technology. The apps are opened in a secure DME browser, and all data used by the apps is stored within the secure DME container. It is not possible to leak data outside the container, including cookies, cached data etc.
Furthermore, web links in e-mails etc. are also routed through the DME secure browser. This means that if the AppBox is configured correctly, users can open internal links (for intranets, SharePoint sites etc.) directly from DME without having to use a VPN connection or similar.

In order for AppBox and the DME secure browser to work within the DME client, the installation of an AppBox server (a G/On server) is required.
After installing the G/On server, the G/On installer generates a connection string, which is stored in a file in the following location on the G/On server (where [GON_Version]
is the current version of G/On, for instance 5.6.0-7
or 5.6.1
):
C:\Program Files\Giritech\gon_[GON_Version]\config\deployed\gon_connect_info.dat
Open this file, and copy the contents of the file. Then paste it into this field, and click Save. DME is now ready to route AppBox applications to iOS devices and handle secure browser traffic.
For more information, see the G/On Server installation guide at the DME Resource Center.
