This guide uses special formatting to signify that a text has a special meaning. The following kinds of formatting is used:

Bold |

Items that can be selected from a list of options, or text that you must type. |
Emphasis |
Applies emphasis to a point, and is also used for variable expressions such as parameters. |
Key+Key |
Key combinations where the user must press and hold down one key and then press another, for example, Ctrl+P or Alt+F4. |
