A whitelist of filetypes that are not opened in the DME client, but can be opened on other native apps outside the DME container.

If you have purchased a license for DME Viewer and Editor integration, you can enable the integration using this setting. DME client users can then view and edit attachments using an advanced Document Viewer and Editor, which is built into DME. Attachments remain within the secure DME container while they are viewed.

The DME Viewer and Editor technology is licensed from Picsel Smart Office.

If you have not purchased a license, or if this setting is Off, the client will download attachments to the secure DME container, but they will be opened by the default viewer on the device - which is beyond the control of DME.
Attachment download can be disabled completely by setting Allow attachment download to Off in Preferences > Security.

If this setting is On, you allow the users to create and edit documents using DME Viewer/Editor. If this setting is Off, only viewing is possible.
